Connecting

Will you seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor as yourself?"

"I will, with God's help"

-- From the Baptismal Covenant; Book of Common Prayer, p. 305

Our parish activities and relationships are sustained and encouraged through communication. Sharing -- through print, electronic means and, very importantly, in person -- of news and information about what's going on at St. James, within our parish family, and our diocesan and area communities is how we keep in touch, remain active and involved, and invite you to join with us in fellowship and ministry. Sign up or adjust your subscription on our self-serve page, here.

The Messenger - May 2012

The St. James newsletter, The Messenger, is now in its 96th year! We publish a print version, mailed to those parishioners requesting it, monthly. The same newsletter in PDF format is available to read online or download right here. The PDF version includes hyperlinks for contacts and other related items, as well as color photos. If you don't have the free Acrobat Reader to view, read and/or print The Messenger, please visit the Adobe site to download the latest version.

If you have trouble with the Flash version below, here is The Messenger May 2012 Issue in plain PDF to view online or for iPhones. (Right-click and choose "Save As" if you prefer to download, first.)

From the Parish

Nancy Jo Poirrier creates and sends an unofficial, all-volunteer email announcement list which came into being during our Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts. She includes news of the church as well as inspirational links, "classified" listings, and area event news. If you'd like to receive From the Parish, send your name and email address to Nancy Jo using the FtP form on the left.
