Delegate and Volunteer Parking:

ParkingPermitImage.jpgParking in downtown Baton Rouge on Friday, March 2 will require a little attention. In addition to the normal work day, our Day School will be closing at 11:40 a.m. to accommodate convention attendees. And, St. James GUMBO 2012 will be in full swing, bringing volunteers and guests to Bishops Hall prior to and just about up to the opening of Convention!

Please refer to the map below for available free and paid parking spots around St. James Episcopal Church. Please place a Parking Permit on the dashboard of your car when parking at any of the free lots. Permits can be downloaded in PDF form, here. Baton Rouge Parking is providing these spots for Convention volunteers and delegates and your vehicle can be identified by the permit.

Accommodations in Baton Rouge:

HiltonCapitolCenter.jpgThe Baton Rouge Hilton Capitol Center is the official convention hotel. Located just two blocks from St. James Episcopal Church, the Hilton is the beautiful restoration of the historic Heidelburg Hotel of the Huey Long era of Louisiana.

The Convention Hosting Committee has reserved a block of rooms at the rate of $129 per night at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center, 201 Lafayette Street in Baton Rouge for convention attendees. You may contact the hotel directly at 225-906-5715 to make reservations.
